Meghan Herring is the Founder and Clinical Director of Heal Therapy & Consulting. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker she brings extensive experience across clinical leadership, emergency care, early childhood mental health, and neurodevelopmental services. Meghan is deeply committed to providing ethical, evidence-based care while creating supportive environments where individuals and families can feel understood, empowered, and supported in their growth.
Meghan has worked across a range of settings, including hospital emergency departments, residential treatment programs, outpatient services, and research clinics. Her clinical background includes working with autistic children, adolescents, and adults and co-occurring mental health conditions. She is certified to administer EMDR, and the ADOS-2. Additionally, she is particularly skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and parent coaching. She holds a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and undergraduate degree from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).
In addition to her clinical work & education, Meghan provides supervision and mentorship to social workers pursuing licensure and leads multidisciplinary teams with a collaborative, strengths-based approach. She is passionate about helping clients navigate life transitions, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. At Heal Therapy & Consulting, Meghan strives to create a compassionate, inclusive space where high-quality care and meaningful connection are at the center of everything she does.
